Major Assignment 3

Turning my own writing habits into the subject of analysis.

The final major assignment combines reflection, observation, and research to interpret my writing identity. It closes the course by asking not just what I wrote, but what I learned about the way I write.

Assignment context

The assignment asked me to pair introspection with observation by recording a writing session, reviewing my own habits, and using course readings to interpret what that behavior revealed.

Unlike the earlier assignments, this one required me to treat myself as both writer and subject, moving between personal experience and broader analysis.

Reflection

This project pushed me to blend storytelling with interpretation. Instead of only narrating experience, I had to ask what those experiences suggested about a larger writing identity and process.

I also worked on integrating sources more smoothly so that the research supported my analysis instead of overwhelming it.
